Send Your X-Rays to OrthoClinic

OrthoClinic is willing to review your x-rays for a possible Oxford procedure.

In order to evaluate your case for a possible Oxford partial knee replacement we must have at least two x-rays, the views include:
  • Standing (weight bearing) AP (front) view of the knee with the knee bent at 20 degrees.
    • Important to note: most orthopedists and hospitals are able to take an x-ray in this position, while most family practitioners are not.
  • Lateral View (lying down) on the x-ray table is necessary.
  • Merchant View of the patella (knee cap) is helpful but not required.
    • Important to note: most orthopedists and hospitals are able to take an x-ray in this position, while most family practitioners are not.
Traditional X-rays (non digital)

Please send me copies of your films via: FedEx, UPS or DHL. Facilities usually offer copies for a minimal charge. Please be sure to include a phone number or email with your x-rays. OR you may also take a digital photo of your xrays on the x-box (lighted box) and email them to me. Usually the MACRO setting is the best. Please call to get the email address.

Digital X-rays

Please have the facility make a CD copy of your x-rays and then send the cd to me via the mail.

**Do not download the cd and email the files. Due to differences amongst digital x-ray programs I will not be able to read them**

If you have any questions please feel free to contact either Dave Brown or Mitzi Bumpus.
